Hello, my name is Samantha. Let me start off with: I absolutely love children. I have been working with children since I was 15 years old, then professionally since 18. I don't see myself working with or in anything else. I have taken a few child development classes in high school and college. I am working towards a degree in Business. I do online classes. My ultimate life goal is to open and run a business where I can help children by providing them a place to express themselves through any creative medium rather than negative alternatives. When I was younger, I would volunteer at my mom's daycare. I would help her with the babies and toddlers. I would keep them on the schedules the parents would request. I enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing with the little babies. At the moment, I work at a charter school's after school program Read more as an art tutor. Although my title is "Art tutor", I tutor students and do homework help in all subjects. My current employer and past employers will let you know I am an extremely caring, wonderful, and hard working lady. I have a way with children. I always create bonds with the children I work with. I love having my children feel comfortable enough to talk to me about anything and everything. I remember what is was like to be a child, so I want to help children out in the many ways that I wasn't. I have yet to be in a situation that I can not handle. Everyday I push myself to be a better person than I was the day before, because I want to be a positive female role model to children. I have yet to be in a situation that I could not handle. I am an artist. Creating is my passion. On my own time I always have a project of mine going. With that in mind, I would always push your children towards creating something beautiful. I love helping people, especially children create. I promote reading. I absolutely love to read. I believe everyone should read for at least 30 minutes to an hour a day. I enjoy a wide variety of books, such as mysteries, fantasies, dramas, and studies. I love reading to children all sorts of children's book (English/Spanish). With older children we can read fun series together. I can definitely help the children with their comprehension skills. I truly believe we should always be educating ourselves and others.
