For nearly two years I have worked with a family as a caregiver of a young 2 year old toddler. As a live-out caregiver I have gained a lot of experience. A normal day would consist of attending places such as the Natural History Museum, local parks, story time at the library, play dates, and an occasional outing to kidspace. For me, as a young woman seeking higher education; this has allowed the perfect balance. I am able to work when available and attend prior commitments as well. I enjoy the freedom that being a caregiver allows such as days or nights off but most of all I enjoy being able to watch a child learn and grow. I am a compassionate, attentive, and responsible individual whose passion lies in helping people. Although this is not a career goal, I take it seriously and understand the responsibility a job like Read more this entails.
