I cared for 8 or more campers at a time 24/7 as an overnight camp counselor for two summers. Given both camp and babysitting work, I have lots of experience working with kids ages 5-16. In 2014, I was awarded as one of the 4 strongest counselors out of 34 counselors. As a camp counselor, I invented countless original activities for the campers including the favorite "Canasketball," a version of basketball that takes place in canoes with campers trying to score on ever-moving targets. While I do love outdoor activities like "Canasketball," I also love board games and I am an avid reader for those who enjoy their fun in a more calm fashion. For the summer of 2015, I was promoted to a Unit Leader at camp, responsible for coordinating daily activities for 32 campers (ages 7-11) and 10 counselors, as well as acting as an advisor to the Read more counselors. In addition, since the age of 13, I babysat for two children starting when they were 3 and 6 respectively, until they were 8 and 11.
