I worked as a camp counselor for 4 summers in a row, primarily with girls ages 10-15 (though I also worked with kids of other ages and genders_. I worked at Alexa Cafe as a Lead Instructor, and taught classes of 8 girls coding and photoshop. I also worked at JCC Kaleidoscope Camp in MA as a counselor, where I led a group of 10 campers but interacted with many kids with varying levels of special needs all throughout camp. I've also worked as a teacher's aide at an art school for kids, working with kids as young as 5 and as old as 12. There, I ensured every kid was happy in the class and assisted in running art projects with the teacher. I worked one summer at a summer camp for kids ages 3-5, where I assisted the lead teacher and helped run activities for the kids in Read more a day-care style environment. I've babysat a few times for a child who was age 4 as well as his sister who was age 7. I graduated from Oberlin College in 2016 with a major in Computer Science. I now work as an Executive Assistant at a reality TV production company. I love working with kids, and miss it very much in my current job. I think kids have a fun attitude that cannot be matched, and I love the person who I am when working with kids - I feel like I'm a joyful, silly, enhanced version of myself. I have previously been certified with Children's CPR certification, though my certification has expired at this point in time.
