I have worked with kids in after school programs , I was the science leader , did kinder-2nd grade group activities , helped out with homework . We had a schedule first was sign in, then supper time , after activity time wihere we divided into groups a seed on the club we had , homework time was last or sometimes homework statutes first just in case the clubs needed them for a longer period of time
