Hello! My name is Sarah and I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering and I am loving the lifestyle and weather here. Here’s a little bit about me… I’m a very responsible, highly organized and tenacious student. I live an active, healthy lifestyle. I love to explore, travel and try new things. My hobbies include yoga, cooking and reading. I also enjoy many outdoor activities which include hiking, biking and volleyball. Connecting with children comes naturally to me. I love interacting with children of various ages and I have over 7 years of experience in babysitting, tutoring and volunteering. I am also very passionate about working with children. I enjoy providing children with fun, fulfilling experiences that allow them to grow, as well as, helping to nurture and develop children’s interests and talents. I love taking children Read more to interactive and fun activities, such as the park or the zoo, but i can also spend the day at home completing homework, reading, playing, coloring and dancing. From my experience, I understand that children are all unique and require different approaches to do things. With my tutoring experience, I am able to assess a child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as their personalities, and adjust methods accordingly. I pride myself on being able to play and act goofy with the kids, yet still have them respect and listen to me. I'm a healthy balance of an easy going, patient attitude and assertive when needed. I understand the importance of my role as a babysitter and I'm able to take on that responsibility. Thank you for reading and please do not hesitate to ask me any further questions you may have. I appreciate the consideration and I look forward to meeting your family!
