Hi there! My name is Paige and I am a 21 year old college student at Saddleback College. I've been babysitting and nannying for about 6 years and am also a Doula. I have the most experience with babies and toddlers, but have worked with all ages. I've worked as a Midwive's Assistant at a local birth center and have basic knowledge and experience with Attachment Parenting, Montessori, and other progressive parenting methods. In addition, I am happy to help with errands, groceries, and cooking, as well as take the baby to do fun activities throughout the week! I can provide references and have a clean background and driving record. Look forward to talking with you!

Paige seemed very down to earth and interviewed well, and her references highly recommended her as someone who was dependable and very caring. My husband was the primary caregiver but was due to start a new job full time in January. We hoped Paige could get acquainted with our daughter before she took over completely by then. Monday of the 3rd week, however, Paige didn't show. She said she wasn't scheduled until tuesday, though my husband was sure that was incorrect. No problem, though, as we could adjust our schedule that day. That same night, though, my husband got a long text from Paige saying she couldn't come. A job she'd applied for a month prior finally got back to her, she said (with a lactation consultant). It was a great opportunity but they wanted her to start immediately. The fact that she didn't call, but text us, was also a little unprofessional and disappointing. While my husband and I admit it's not uncommon for nannies to leave, we are a bit dismayed that she didn't (1) let us know she was actively applying to other jobs, and (2) give us any notice. My husband had to reschedule two weeks of prep-work while we started the search for a replacement. Obviously Paige wasn't here long enough for us to give a very extensive account of her ability as a nanny, but if there's anything nannies need to be it is reliable. And unfortunately Paige left us in the lurch with very little concern for her obligation to us. And she was on a good rate! And to top it all off, she showed up in her 2nd week complaining of cold symptoms (headache, sore throat), so my husband sent her home early. Two days later though our baby got sick, followed by my husband, followed by me. All around a very amateur and unprofessional experience. Not recommendable in our opinion.

Paige is a wonderful, nurturing, and kind nanny who has cared for my very active toddler and preschooler with maturity, consistency and patience - all requirements with little ones! She is respectful of the rules and schedule I have in place, is great with communicating with me about her time with the kids and how they did each day, feeds them nutritious snacks and meals, spends quality time with them, and is genuinely interested in their happiness and well-being. She has become part of our family and my kids adore her! We wish her the very best of luck in finding a full-time nanny position and know she will be an absolutely amazing nanny to her next family!
