I am a 28-year-old visual artist with a true passion and love for working with children! I have been working in various positions with kids for the past 10 years. Most recently I have been working as an After School Leader for Super Duper After School in Los Angeles. This position involved looking after and educating 2nd and 3rd graders at an Elementary school in Silverlake, for the period of 1 year. I absolutely adored this position and I especially loved developing lasting friendships/relationships with the children and their families. I have also worked as an Art/Film/Video Instructor for Super Duper Summer Arts Camp in Koreatown (2013), which involved developing, planning and teaching classes to children aged 5-16. One of my true passions in life is to excite children (and adults) about art and help them indulge in and unleash their artistic abilities. I am originally from Melbourne, Australia and Read more I have been a resident of Los Angeles for the last 3 years. I have been a personal nanny/babysitter to a number of families in the USA, Australia and Germany. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art from Victorian College of the Arts - the University of Melbourne and a Honours degree in Fine Art from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). I am very passionate about helping children's development in all areas and I love to watch them grow. As I am a visual artist I feel I have unique skills to offer; I am very supportive and encouraging of children's creativity and I love to teach and engage children in art making. I am extremely responsible and reliable person and my most important aim is to make sure your children and safe and happy. I am not the kind of sitter that puts on the TV as soon as you leave, I take a great of of pride and time into planning fun activities for children including art, craft, sport, reading, homework help, and outings. I am a very energetic, fun, and creative person and I would love the opportunity to meet your family.
