I am a 23 year old college graduate from the University of Idaho with a degree in Spanish, and a degree in Conservation Biology. I moved out to California in January to nanny for a family living in Pacific Palisades. Their children were 7, 9, and 10, so after 6 months they decided that they had outgrown a full-time live in nanny. I am now on my own and able to babysit for other families! I have a job during the day, but really love kids, and still want that to be part of my life, even if I am not nannying full time. I have been babysitting for around ten years now and have had a couple part time nanny positions over the last five years. I also have three younger siblings, so even before I was getting paid to watch kids, I had them to look out for. Read more My younger brother also has severe allergies to peanuts and eggs, so I have experience with epi-pens and the coolheadedness that is needed when faced with a child having an allergic reaction. I have been CPR and first aid certified several times over the course of my babysitting experience and feel comfortable with children of all ages! I also speak Spanish! I am a fun loving sitter, but have no problem taking charge.
