I love animals, kids, and the elderly. I've always connected well with them. My experience as a nanny/babysitter comes from unexpectedly needing to care for children. I've been to plenty of weddings or other parties where I've taken it upon myself to watch the children because they're unsupervised, including changing diapers or making bottles for children when I see they need it and the parents just hand me the necessary items when I let them know what their children needed (the diaper changing was a one time occurrence but making bottles happened pretty often). Most of the time, I just make sure they're safe in the midst of all the dancing and servers. I've also had people who come over to speak with my mom about something and I am tasked to watch the children and keep them entertained. Usually kids don't want to go home once it's time to Read more leave, which is quite endearing. I've babysat for children ages 1 to 12 in the same household on the same day on several occasions, helping the older ones with homework while the baby sleeps on my shoulder, and playing with the younger ones after putting the baby down for a nap, and finally having the older kids help me clean up while I make dinner. I have a little brother who was born while I was in high school, and that gave me experience with newborns that I previously have never had
