I have babysat since I was about 11, but I'm now 48 with 6 kids whom I adore from ages 5 to 23, so have had a myriad of jobs and self employment in the meantime. I have always loved children, it's the number one reason I have 6 children. I am very patient, open, loving. I like listening to children's stories and engaging them about how their day was. I am a big believer in holding little ones to create a feeling of safety and security. I resepect parental wishes for their children and family even if it isn't what I would do with my own children. I believe in correcting behavior rather than the child. I am very respectful with children, and that includes their bodily atonomy... If they don't want to be touched, they won't be touched. I am located in Mather but do have a car Read more and a license. I have a clean driving record. I have no felonies and no desire to ever have one. I have a decent sense of humor. I can be blunt. I am about open communication. I do have ADHD. I am very honest, and desire honesty from everyone around me. I love dogs and cats, but I have allergies, so I need to know if you have any before I come in so I can take some meds for it. I do have a 5 year old daughter and may need to have her with me at times if I have no one else to watch her. At this time, that never happens, but things change so it needs to be something I can do, if the need arises.
