My name is Genesis, and I am 24 years old and currently living in Merced. I have multiple years of experience caring for children. I have volunteered many times at local elementary schools for school events and in their classrooms. This past year, I was involved with an elementary school literacy program that helps students struggling with reading in grades K-3. I have babysat children as young a 7-months and as old as 12 years old. Babysitting them has consisted of a few of the following tasks: bathing, feeding, playing, and creating both learning & craft activities. Caring for these children has been an enlightening task that has not only continuously prepared me to work with students, but also given me invaluable knowledge on how to interact and care for younger children.
