My name is Yesenia Villa, 21 years old and I attend UC Merced. I am a fourth majoring in Public Health. I originally from Southern California. I am the youngest of 4, myself being the youngest in a family of 3 boys. I speak English and Spanish. About 80% of my past work/volunteer experience has involved working with children between the ages of 8-12 years old. I am a summer camp counselor in Redondo Beach, CA and it has taught me a lot of patience, fun educational ways to keep children entertained and active. More importantly, I have had the opportunity to build great relationships with campers; where I build trust and respect. Additionally, I have been a babysitter for my entire family (& extended family members). My older brother has three young children; two girls and one boy. So I understand the amount of attention an infant/toddler need from Read more being highly attentive when they are learning to walk, keeping an eye on food (allergies, esp.) and ensure their cleanliness.
