Lisa’s Bio
Hi! I'm a 30-something, US citizen, and college graduate (UVM) looking for some part-time babysitting work. The reason I'm looking to babysit is because I've been working as an Event Manager for the past 10 years but now want to make a career change. I'm in the process of studying for the GRE and applying to grad schools so child care fits my schedule perfect.
A little about my experience: I have babysat and nannied since I was 13 years old. In Burlington, VT I nannied for 4 years for a family with 2 children, a 2-year old girl and a 7-year old boy. Then for 2 years after college, I nannied for a family in Fairfield, CT (where I'm from) with 2 children, a 3-year old daughter and a 6-year old son. Up until recently, I babysat for a 3-year old boy in Sausalito, but they moved out-of-state.
In addition to those examples, I come from a big Italian family with many kids so I have a lot of experience with kids of all ages and needs. I'm flexible with duties and schedules, have my own car and am able to help with homework, sports, play dates, cooking, light housekeeping, errands, etc. I've been told I'm good with kids and I certainly do love them so babysitting is the perfect way for me to practice for when I become a mom.
Thanks for reading; I look forward to helping out!
