I am an Early Childhood Education teacher from Canada. Since I was thirteen, I’ve been caring for and helping younger children with their school work and life skills. I’ve worked in two separate daycares as a Registered ECE in Ontario, Canada. Part of my training and education was to be in the classroom hands on. Because of that, I’ve also had two years working in a kindergarten room as well as in a toddler room. Throughout my training and working, I have also had the experience of working with children with disabilities varying between a child who was deaf, a child with autism and a child with Down’s syndrome as well as different behavioral issues such as oppositional defiance disorder and violent anger outbursts. Each of those children were met with care and compassion and understanding as well as the labeling of emotions and feelings.
