Hi there! My name is Heidi, and I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy at Rush University in Chicago. I am passionate about working with children, and I have had various work and volunteer experiences with youth of all ages! I have volunteered as a teacher's assistant for two preschool classrooms and one fifth-grade classroom (2 yrs), provided care for toddlers at a center for children with autism (1 yr), led art therapy for 4 and 5 year old children with developmental delays (1 yr), and recently completed a fieldwork rotation in pediatric home health working with children ages 1 to 10 with neurological, developmental, and/or physical disorders (3 mnths). I have also held babysitting/nannying positions over the course of two years for children from ages 4 months old to 12 years old.
