I am a friendly, energetic, and patient nanny & tutor, currently living in Los Angeles. I have a great driving record, with past experience transporting children for my previous families to and from school as well as their extracurricular activities. I love to engage with children in their play and work together with a child as they learn. In regards to child development, I have taken 4 Units of Human Development and 4 Units of Child Development, with a focus on Middle Childhood and Adolescence. I am eager to learn to care for each child as an individual. I became a nanny and tutor because I love children and having a hand in their learning and development. It’s my goal to give the best care I can and help them reach their fullest potential. Being a facilitator of growth and learning for others is exhilarating for me, especially when a child overcomes a difficult problem and realizes he/she can do it! My tutoring style is a collaborative/facilitator method to help empower my students to become critical thinkers and more independent learners.
