Hi there, thanks for stopping by! My name is Anna and I just moved to Milpitas from Berkeley. If you're reading this, I'm assuming you're searching for a dependable, experienced and caring person that will be a good fit for your family and whom you trust to care for your children. On top of all that, you're probably feeling overwhelmed with all the profiles and options listed here! Having said that, I'll keep it brief (but hopefully still plenty informative) - please feel free to reach out if you have any remaining questions. I was born and raised in the East Bay Area and have been providing childcare to local families since the age of thirteen. I have experience in caring for children with various special needs including autism (and related spectrum disorders), developmental delays, food allergies, and separation anxiety. In addition to paid childcare experience, I also volunteered at a Girl Scout day camp for six years (one full week per summer). I love the inquisitive, playful qualities that children bring into any activity they're involved in, and my time with the Girl Scouts gave me lots of experience in how best to harness that youthful energy so that everyone stays safe, happy and engaged! I'm CPR certified (Adult, Child, and Infant) and trained in First-Aid, plus I have a California Safe Food Handler license (not always directly applicable, but it can be nice to know that I can prepare food without making anybody sick!).
