I currently work at St. Joseph hospital as a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery. I am just looking to have something on the side babysitting for date nights and the occasional weekday/school pick up. My schedule changes week to week, but I only work 3 days a week so it allows for some flexibility! In the past, I have nannied for a ten-month-old baby Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. I have worked for a family for 6 years (2 children, boy and girl, school-aged), but I also have experience working with a group of 5 boys (ages 4-10), and infants. I am CPR certified and PALS certified. I have done volunteer work in the past working at my church as a crew leader for Vacation Bible School with a group of about 10 children for the past 5 years. In college, I spent 3 weeks in Russia Read more working in an orphanage with all different types of children, which I absolutely loved. I am comfortable working with all ages and I love being creative with the children. Families I have worked for in the past have allowed minimal television time, so I am very comfortable with being creative and coming up with fun ways to keep the children busy and active, including crafts, outside play, etc. Working with children is my passion!

Emily is an incredible care giver. My family is so glad to know her. She is professional, kind, and cheerful. When she first met my son, he was just starting to have stranger anxiety. He was about 8 months old at the time. He was so excited to see Emily from the get-go. She put him right at ease and made him smile. And my daughter thinks the world of Emily. When we go out on a date night and Emily is with our children, we have zero worries that they are in caring, competent, professional hands.
