I am currently a full-time student studying Animal Health Science at Cal Poly Pomona. My work experience includes: 2 years as a sales associate at a eyes are store, 1 year as a courtesy clerk at a grocery store, and 2 summers of being a summer camp counselor. My previous experience working with kids consists of not only babysitting but also through experience working in a facility that hosts birthday parties. At this job, I helped run birthday parties for children between the ages of 5 to 12. I was also the pottery instructor for the business where I ran one-on-one wheel thrown pottery lessons for children between the ages of 8 to 15. I also just returned this summer from working at an 8 week overnight summer camp in Massachusetts. At this camp I worked with kids from the ages of 7-15 being a specialty counselor and a ceramics Read more instructor. I was responsible for living in a cabin with the campers, and participating in the general overnight camp program: cabin routine, evening activities, special events, etc. With all that said I overall have been babysitting for the last 5 years for children of all ages: 12 weeks to 13 years old. I am seeking a family that needs a part-time or date night babysitter. I can prepare healthy meals, do light house cleaning, help with homework, care for pets, and most importantly, engage with the children with games and creative activities that can both stimulate them physically and mentally. I am looking for a family that will welcome me with open arms and actively communicate with me their wants so I can create a healthy working relationship and service your expectations at a high standard.
