I have always been attracted to child development especially in relation to infants. In my past,I was a asst teacher in a local daycare and foster parent dedicated to preemies and full term infants Even in my youth, I would spent countless hours watching child development programs and reading related articles. Not being able to physically have many babies myself, I became a Foster parent in Massachusetts in the year 2000. For approximately 5 years, I have had the pleasure of caring for 8 little ones, their ages ranged from a few days old to 9 months. Most stayed with our family for only 3-4 months and although it was heart breaking to say goodbye I will always cherish each and everyone of their individual spirits, and eagerly await our next new member. In 2009 I was granted a teacher assistant position in a Rhode Island base daycare. Most of Read more my days there I spent in their" Infants 1" room, ages 6 weeks -10 mos. On our busiest days we would have up to 8 infants to care for between two teachers. It was quite a rewarding experience. In my most recent position I cared for a set of adorable twin boys. Unfortunately this was a temporary position and they have since relocated I will miss them dearly. I am also the proud mom. My 25 yr daughter is a gift that I am forever grateful for and the catalyst to this passion. I have a valid driver's lic, a clean driving history and a clean BCI and was CPR certified in 2009.
