I am 24 years old, graduated from California State University, San Bernardino, double majored in psychology and child development. While attending, I was working through the Boys and Girls Club at an after school program in an elementary called HEARTS. I was also a mentor for teenage girls through out that time as well. I am currently an ABA therapist and am a child care worker at a group home for teenage boys. I have worked with kids ranging from the ages of about 3 months to 18 years old. I have always enjoyed working with children, being that I am the oldest of 4 I have always been around children , which is where I believe my love for working with children came about. Growing up I was always referred to as the "mother hen" because I was always behind the other children making sure that they weren't getting Read more themselves into things and making sure that they were safe. Which is the reason I chose to major in child development because I knew that I could not picture myself in a career that did not involve children in some way. I enjoy poetry; I write my own poetry as well as I enjoy reading and hearing other peoples spoken words, I also enjoy and hiking and playing sports; all through middle school and some of my high school career I played volleyball. I am first aid and CPR certified.
