I have had extensive experience in child care for many years. I've worked in various settings with children of all ages. I began babysitting my siblings at a young age and now I babysit my younger cousins often. I gained more professional experience with children as a student assistant at the Children's Center at Cal State Northridge, where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Child Development with a minor in Psychology. I then gained experience as a behavioral therapist, working with children with special needs in a clinical and school setting. I decided to get my teaching credential and have worked as a 5th grade teacher for two years. Now, I am one week away from obtaining my master's degree in Educational Psychology. I absolutely love interacting with children and helping them reach their full potential. I am very passionate, energetic, and caring for all children.

Claudia really saved the day (month!) for us recently when our regular after-school sitter was unexpectedly unable to work. For four weeks, she picked my two (special needs) sons up from school, helped with homework, took them to appointments, made meals, and kept the house neat. She is responsible, flexible, kind, and really great with kids. Even though our emergency is over, Claudia may never quite be rid of us - she's sitting for us again for date night this week!
