I feel that my experience started very early on. Since I was 9 years old, I have practically raised my younger sister who is now 13 years old. When I got out of high school, I started working for a family who had 10 kids! I only took care of the 3 youngest, but the household was very hectic. The three youngest that I looked after were a 6-month-old boy, 3-year-old boy, and 9-year-old girl. I was with that family for three and a half years until August of 2013. My duties included helping with homework, preparing meals, bathing and getting them to bed, light household cleaning, children's laundry, running errands, and taking the children to school or to appointments. After I worked with this family I started working with a young girl who is 12 years old, tutoring her and occasionally taking care of her while her mom was Read more out of town. I am now currently working with a family who has 4 boys ages two, four, eight, and nine. I also have experience working with children who have minor cases of cerebral palsy and autism. I love children and watching them grow and learn! I feel that I am definitely experienced when it comes to working with children and would love to be able to help a new family!
