For a couple of years, I used to babysit/tutor my landlord’s kids twice a week. From this, I was able to form strong, yet personal relationships with the kids (a 9 year old boy, an 8 year old boy, and a 5 year old boy) that I looked after. All of which was accomplished, while I was still attending school full time at Cal Poly Pomona. I also managed to balance my school life while playing for the women’s soccer team at my college. My experience as a student athlete, has taught me great discipline in regards to time-management and staying organized. I have also gained essential life skills such as communication, leadership, and teamwork. All of which I strive to apply to my everyday life. I take pride in working extremely hard and giving my 100% effort in any task that I set my mind to.
