Hi! I'm Lucas, I am 24 years old, and live in the Burbank area. I have recently moved here from Chicago where I obtained my Bachelors of Music from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. While earning my degree, I also worked full time as a private music instructor at the School of Rock. There I taught guitar and upright bass to students from ages 6 all the way to 65. Before Chicago, I also spent 4 months working in Newark, NJ as the Director of Activities and teacher for Newark Safe Haven. Aside from traditional music teaching, I also served as a mentor for at risk youth ages 6-14. With children I pride myself on my patience and calm demeanor. Being an educator has also taught me how to break down difficult concepts to kids and speak at their level.
