Hello my name is Marcela Moran. I graduated from UC San Diego on June 2015 with my BA in Human Biology with a minor in Health Care Social Issue. I completed a Post Baccalaureate Pre-Medical program also from UCSD in 2016 and I am currently in the process of applying to medical school. I plan on working in primary care or women's health because I enjoy interacting with families and kids. I am very excited to work during this gap year and gain more experience working with families. I have babysat/nannied before and I truly enjoy forming a close relationship with kids and their parents because it requires forming a strong bond which takes a lot of work and mutual trust. I have also worked with kids before at my church as a teacher's assistant (for over 10 years) and I have personal experience being the eldest of two boys. Read more The past few summers I cared for 2 toddlers, a girl and a boy (this was my first paid job which I obtained through sittercity while I was home). I love working with toddlers because there is so much for them to learn and they are so curious. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I am a fast learner so if there's anything in particular I need to know about your child I can apply it quickly and effectively. I can do light housekeeping and even some laundry as needed but of course taking care of the the kids would be my number one priority. I am a fluent Spanish speaker.
