After beating cancer in 2004, I began to feel I needed to find a better calling in life more fulfilling than being a owner of a pub. I began volunteering at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX on the Oncology unit. I had found my calling. Not long after that, I was hired on as a Child Life Assistant based in the ER. I loved my job, then in 2017 due to hospital cutbacks my position was cut across the board. I then began working at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired as a Resident Instructor. I did that until I moved to the Ojai Vally last year to help my brother with our mother. I was just recently CNA certified and am now pursuing jobs in that field. I am a very kind, compassionate person who enjoys helping people, especially children with special needs. I Read more love animals and like to work with them. Hope to hear from you.
