Hi everyone! I'm a mixed media artist who graduated from Swarthmore College in studio arts and Asian Studies. I traveled extensively around the world on a fellowship after that and have now been in Oakland for 3 years as a PhD candidate in performance studies at UC Berkeley. I have many experiences teaching children language, art, and how to play, as well as being a student academic mentor in college and a reading and composition instructor for college students at Cal. I speak four languages including Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English :) I play the guitar and piano, practice yoga & pilates every week and cook for myself and those I love around me. Babysitting is one of the ways I'm preparing to become a parent in the future :)
