Hi there! My name is Christine and I am currently a graduate student at Santa Clara University studying Counseling Psychology. My long-term career goals include acquiring my MFT (marriage and family therapy) license and becoming a practicing licensed therapist in California. I recently moved to the Bay Area from Chicago. In Chicago, I spent 4 years working as a nanny for a boy and girl in my neighborhood while I was in high school. During my undergraduate studies, I babysat for a 5 year old girl and 4 year old boy. Most recently, while working full-time post graduation, I have been babysitting a 10 year old girl and 6 year old boy up until I moved to California. I also recently began working as a Behavioral Interventionist with an organization where I work with autistic children on various behavioral and social skills. I enjoy working with children and I am Read more a fun, caring, nurturing, and very responsible caretaker. I have excellent attention to detail, can work very well with a parent's pre-set schedule, but am also very flexible and remain calm in stressful situations. While in undergrad, I spent two years working as a Resident Assistant for first-year students. I was their main point of contact for any stress, both academic and personal, and have always been a responsible individual to turn to. While I do not currently have any specific certifications, I am open to acquiring any that would make you feel more comfortable. I understand how difficult it can be to find reliable and trusting help for your children, and I am honored at the opportunity to assist you with this endeavor.
