Although I don't have any children of my own, I have had a few years experience of helping some of my relatives and friends with taking care of and watching their kids. I have yet to receive any baby sitting certifications, however now that I have come to a point where I want to help other families in need of some help in caring for their little ones, I am highly considering going through some training. This past year, I received my A.A in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Eventually, I plan return to school for my B.A., but until then, I'm looking for a temporary babysitting position. Currently, I work at a public library as a Library Aide. I help check - in and out books and all other library materials, shelve books, help with keeping the library branch clean and organized, as well as help with answering some reference Read more questions. Working at the library and watching families come in for story time, and seeing kids of all ages from babies to tweens and teens, looking excitedly around the library has given me an idea of what kinds of books and movies that are of interest to them and has helped me in interacting with them and talking with them in things that are of interest to them. I love kids and would like to share some of my energy and free time with some parents in need!
