I currently work for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a Security Operations Manager/Coordinator. I have been with DHS for 12 years. I hold a secret clearance. I have a perfect driving record. I have been fingerprinted for my clearance, children’s schools to be a chaperone, and for the adoption of my twins. I do not smoke or do drugs (have records showing that I have passed all of my random drug tests at work). I am looking to change my career; therefore, I am also going to school full time for my Psychology degree. As I aggressively push through my upper division courses, along with preparation for my Masters Degree and counselor's license, I find that I need more time. This, coupled with the fact that my twins are now one and I have been unable to obtain adequate childcare, I would like to quit my job, continue school, Read more and raise my twins. However, I do need to supplement my loss of income slightly, so I thought the best way would be to provide equal loving support to another family that needs to continue with their job, but needs trustworthy reliable childcare that is hard to find these days. My experience with children includes working with developmentally disabled children at Stein Education Center; working at the Naval Child Development Center; and raising my daughter (15) and son (12) along with my 1 year old twins. The first two years are the most important years of developing emotions, temperament, self-awareness, and brain maturation. I am confident that I can provide you with sensitive and responsive childcare filled with a lot of play time, as well as meet your personal parenting needs.
