I have worked with children for many years! I started babysitting younger family members when I was a teenager. Once I graduated high school and starting attending college, I started working at a daycare on my school campus being a teachers assistant. I worked in a classroom of about 30 children from the ages three-six years old. I would prepare food, clean up afterwards, assists in games and activities, and also outside play. I would help with nap time and whatever other task the teacher needed. It was a lot of fun! A few years later I worked at a daycare at a courthouse in Northern California, which is where I am from. It was called The Children's Waiting Room. While parents were in court or dealing with paper work, which sometimes took all day, they would be able to leave their children at the Waiting Room, and we would Read more provide a safe learning environment and would engage in a lot of fun activities with the kids. The ages ranged from 6 months old to 12 years old. About two years ago I decided to move to Southern California. Once I moved here I became a nanny for a lovely family who I have been working with since. The children are now three years old and six years old. Both children will be starting school at the end of August, which they will be at all day, so unfortunately the job is coming to an end. I love being a nanny and being around children. I am very patient and love helping them grow into being the best kids they can be. I am able to provide references!
