Welcome, my name is Desiree Garcia. I have been caring for children off and on for over 8 years. I have a year left at the University and am getting my single subject credential in Spanish. Though I do not have experience taking care of children with disabilities I have taken multiple classes in my credential program and would feel comfortable caring for them. I love to do crafts and play games that promote learning that are fun enough that they do not realize they are learning. I love working with children and live to inspire them and teach them that no dream is unreachable. I have a car and am willing to pick up children from school and take them to practice or where ever they need to go. I have experience of taking care of up to 6 children at a time. I interviewed Desiree and she seemed very sweet. However, the morning of her first job, she texted saying she was going to be late. She kept saying she was sorry and was coming for TWO HOURS. Then she stopped texting me, never showed, never called; nothing. I am writing this to help parents who may use her for work, meetings, etc. Thankfully, I just had errands to do, but if you needed a sitter for something important, I wouldn't want to use someone who was very inconsiderate and unreliable.

Desiree is a wonderful sitter. Both my children ,ages 8 and 5, enjoyed when she took care of them. She maintains excellent communication and is very reliable. I greatly appreciated Desiree and her strong sense of responsibility and love for kids!
