Hi Everyone! My name is Briana, and I have been working with kids for many years. My mother co-owned a K-12 private school for over ten years. I'm very familiar with a variety of age groups. I'm all about fun and learning. I've learned quite a bit about what works and what doesn't when it comes to children. It's really important to establish good communication with a child, and actually treat them as if what they have to say is important, as opposed to just talking at them or ordering them around. Children tend to be a lot smarter and observant than we think, you just have to give them a chance to share their viewpoints. When I work with a child my main focus is to find something that is postive that they really enjoy, and to ecourage that. Often times I will ask them what they want to be when they grow up. Basically, I like to show kids that there is more to life than watching TV, or playing video games. Let's get moving!

Briana was my daughter’s nanny when she was 4-9 months old. I highly recommend her. Briana is in tune with my daughter’s rhythms of eating, sleeping and playing. She anticipates my daughter’s needs (like setting out food before she gets hungry). Briana has a soothing presence. My daughter never cries around her. Briana is also an expert at getting my daughter to nap – a skill that I have yet to master. Briana is fun and engages my daughter by always talking to her, singing to her, laughing with her, reading to her, etc. Briana is very sweet and obviously loves working with babies. She is prompt, clean and professional. I would have kept her as my daughter’s nanny, but I stopped working and no longer needed her. We miss her!

Where to start… Briana became our nanny to my sweet baby girl awhile back ago, and I couldn’t ask for someone more in sync with her needs. Briana is loving, smart, and just the sort of person you want your baby to be around. Sadly, my husband and I have to move to Northern California, which gives me a pit in my tummy to think we have to find another nanny. Both he and I wish she’d just up and leave her life to care for our Eleanor ?. So, with that, I couldn’t give a better review, hopefully she would become part of your family too, because everybody needs a Briana. Lastly, she brings snacks, and that is just plain awesome.
