I taught at a private school for 21 years, grades pre k- 3rd. I've had numerous babysitting and nanny jobs which ended because the children had grown. I like to stay with one family as long as possible. I come from a family of 6 and growing up we had to learn how to share and how to be respectful of others. Our parents were the best role models and just recently, I have lost both to cancer. I left my teaching position to take care of them around the clock and most importantly, to spend the end of their lives with them. I love people, I love being of help and I am looking for work so I can provide a comfortable life for my son and myself. He and I live near the beach, we're active in and out of the house. I'm teaching him how to do Read more his laundry, along with learning how to cook a quick meal. We enjoy riding bikes, playing sports and spending time at the beach. I enjoy kids and the funny things they do and say and I've always had a passion for working with them.
