I have been a childcare giver for over eight years and I'm always excited to work with families in establishing a safe and entertaining environment for their children. Personal interactions with parents are important for my job performance as its the only way to learn and assist in performing my assigned duties efficiently in caring for the children whose well being is my primary focus. I prefer a family setting whenever possible because it is easier to relate to children at a personal level in their homes that they are already familiar and comfortable in. My duties in other previous jobs have included helping children with school assignments, light housework, running errands, playing and creating activities that grow their talents such as crafts.
