Hello there, my name is Angelina Alvarez. I love working with children, I feel as though they teach us about ourselves just as much as we teach them. In my family, I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews, so I've pretty much become the go-to family babysitter. I've babysat children from the ages of about 3 months to 7 years old. I also have experience working with newborns. I currently live with one of my nieces and one of my nephews, and I've babysat them since they were newborns. My niece is 5 1/2 years old and my nephew is 1. From the start, I was/am very hands-on with helping care for them (even when I'm not on duty for babysitting). Below are a list of tasks I've completed and learned throughout my babysitting journey: - Changing diapers - Feeding (i. e., bottle, baby food) - Preparing meals - Bathing/Dressing Read more - Putting child down for a nap - Interacting with child (i. e., story-time, playing games, etc.) - Assisting with homework I understand the responsibilities of caring for a child and the duties that are involved. I also know the importance of showing love and compassion to children when caring for them, I treat every child as if they were my own. Along with babysitting, I am also a full-time college student. I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice. I should note that my current schedule includes Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30, but my schedule varies each quarter.
