I get the bulk of my experience with my own children! I have a nine year son with ADHD and a 5-year-old daughter. I work full time Monday-Friday for a insurance agency as a workers' compensation specialist. I am a single mother, widowed 3 years ago. Prior to my children I have always been the go to family babysitter for as many 6 children at a time. I am very familiar with caring for twins, as my cousins have TWO sets of twins that I use to care for regularly when they were small! Raising my family on my own comes with many challenges, mainly related to income and bills. The idea of working on the weekends, and spending even less time with my kids, hurts my heart. But babysitting would be the perfect supplemental income, while socializing and spending time with my children at the same time!
