Retired ER Nurse after 20 years. I have 3 children all in college. My youngest daughter was adopted at the age of 2 years. Also I was a Foster Parent for several years . I am certified in CPR and particularly good with challenging children. I have 6 years experience working in Post-Partum as a nurse and was a Lactation consultant. Children are so wonderful and I look forward to finding a wonderful family who could benefit from my expertise. I practice Yoga daily and cycle regularly and live a healthy lifestyle . I am conscientious about eating healthy and teaching children about a healthy lifestyle.

We worked with Gloria for 4 weeks to take care of our 4-month old baby boy. This was our very first time hiring and working with a nanny. (Based on our interview, I believe it was her first time being a nanny too.) We did not ask the right questions and set the right expectations at the beginning. At first it was pleasant and our baby seemed happy with her. But starting the 2nd or 3rd week, we started noticing changes. We began to suspect and believe that our baby was just placed in different locations of the home...ie jumper set, swing, play mat, sofa etc. When he fusses, he would be fed and placed in another location until he fusses again. There seemed to be very little personal interaction between them. Our baby seemed to have stopped smiling at her. Earlier this week, we wanted to address our concerns with her and give her a chance to present her side. But very quickly the conversation turned south. It became very argumentative and finally when she made a very rude comment, I had to let her go on the spot.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers.
