Hi! My name is Chelsea. I am 20 years old and I am currently in my third year at CSUCI. I am a very friendly and outgoing person. I have a lot of patience with children and I am not easily frustrated. I take the time to understand a child's wants and needs. Growing up, my mother used to take care of many children. I would always help her out with anything she needed. I would help feed, change diapers, play with, read, and even teach children in certain subjects; mainly being the basics of reading and mathematics. I have taken care of newborns and toddlers. In high school, I participated in a class called museum studies. We would create art projects for children in elementary school and go once a week to teach them, this being only two student teachers per classroom. So I have quite a bit of Read more experience with energetic kids. I have a very flexible schedule and I am willing to come in whenever needed, whether it be if you need to run an errand or just go out and have some free time for yourself. I love having fun with kids and allowing them to enjoy their childhood as much as possible. Since I am back at school, my availability varies with each semester, but for the most part I am always available any time during the weekends starting from Friday after noon until Sunday late at night. I am well aware that date nights are what most parents are in need of, and I'd love help out by babysitting so that you can go out and have a relaxing evening. Currently I work as a respite caregiver for children with disabilities, so I have some experience with children on the spectrum.
