I am a caretaker with over 20 years of experience with children of all ages and abilities. My journey began at 10 years old as a mother's helper for 3 families in my neighborhood. My babysitting trajectory continued throughout high school and college, and through word of mouth my portfolio of families quickly increased, and scope would now include travel and overnight requirements. I hold a degree from New York University in Educational Theatre, with an emphasis in Special Education. I completed rigorous coursework in child development, child psychology, and 2 successful field placements. Despite pursuing employment in a field other than education, I've consistently maintained my passion for working with children by volunteering with local children's organizations, and helping with children's parties and events. As the mother of a beautiful 4 year old boy, I feel even more qualified than ever with the life experience of being a parent. Rebecca has been watching my 4 month old "high needs" infant on a weekly basis for the past month. Knowing how much of a challenge my little one can be, I was nervous to leave him with anyone. From the start Rebecca's calm and loving attitude put my infant and I at ease. She has also helped us manage swaddling transitions, gas pains, and bottle feeding.
