Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a recent college graduate from UCLA where I studied Psychobiology. I have always loved working with children and eventually hope to pursue a career as a pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I first babysat at the age of 16 to my new born brother (I know, pretty large age gap!). To this day, I still babysit him from time to time, but I mainly took care of him from ages 2 weeks-2.5 years (until I left for college). Also, I babysat my neighbor's children (ages 7-11) sporadically for about 2 years. At UCLA, I was involved with an organization called Project WILD. With this organization, I spent most Saturdays tutoring all ages of elementary school students. I mainly specialized in tutoring 2nd grade and ESL students in math and english. Furthermore, I was a research assistant for UCLA Autistic Research and Treatment, where I gained a lot of experience working with autistic children. I am knowledgable in a variety of subjects, so I'm great at helping with homework! I'm willing to cook as well. I am CPR/BLS certified.
