Caring for children has always been something I genuinely enjoy doing. Their developing minds grow as the days progress and it's always a joy to hear how they see the world from their perspective. I am no stranger to babysitting children of multiple ages at a time. My dad has ten siblings and they each have three to four kids. Their ages range from 9 months to 24 years old and I have very close bonds with each and every one of them, most of whom I have taken care of on multiple occasions and although it is definitely a tiresome task (the most I have babysat at a time was 12), it is very rewarding for me to know that I can accomplish it all while being fun yet disciplinary when necessary. Aside from that, I have been a camp counselor in the past. During this time, 12 young Read more girls were under my supervision from day to night for an entire week. During meal times I was assigned different groups of children (both boys and girls) throughout the week and ensure that they were well fed and enthusiastic for their day planned ahead. It was without a doubt one of the most fun experiences of my life because I enjoy being a role model and instilling core values such as compassion, humor, support, intelligence, and adventure in such an outstanding group of kids. I also have experience in tutoring kids who are struggling in school. In high school, I was an after school tutor for underclassmen who were struggling with or failing one or multiple classes. My core subjects are writing, english, grammar, history, government, and entry level math.
