Hi! My name is Rebecca Edwards and I am 26 years old and I live in Richmond. I have my own car, so any pick ups or drop offs won't be a problem. I have 6 plus years experience with babysitting/nannying for new-borns, infants, toddlers and grade school ages. Taking care of children became important to me once I held my new-born nephew in my arms almost 9 years ago. I love children because their thoughts, opinions, and creativity are in it's purest form. We are never so unbiased as we were when we were kids. They're forgiving, and they accept you for who you are. We have as much to learn from them as they do from us. Perhaps more. And, most importantly, they remind us that the world really is so much bigger than ourselves. They are the true definition of philosophers. I think it's important that children take in their surroundings and learn all that they can from every situation. I like to try and make sure the kids have fun no matter what they are doing. I'm not religious but I do practice meditation and believe in having respect and compassion for everyone and everything. I have no problem cleaning up the house and caring for pets if needed. A bonus really, since I am a huge animal lover. I'm very open to negotiating an appropriate pay rate but I do feel that my qualifications allow me to request a rate of 22 dollars per hour or more. I'm okay with accepting a set salary if that is preferred.

Rebecca is a very loving sitter. She watched my daughter for a year and she was very caring and sweet. She never called in sick and my daughter would run to the door everytime Rebecca was there. Rebecca is very reliable and she was really helpful with some clean up around the house. My daughter was one at the time and Rebecca was pretty confortable changing diapers and taking her to the park all the time. She loved it. I felt 100% safe having my daughter with her at any time.

My daughter Ashley had a great time with Rebecca and requested that I have her back sometime. She fixed meals, straightened up the house and played barbies and other games with Ashley. She was punctual, friendly and I would definitely hire Rebecca for additional jobs.
