I have worked with and cared for children most of my life. I am a recently retired teacher who has taught preschool through second grade. Each day, I fostered the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of 20 plus children. I have also raised two wonderful children. (I've plenty of experience with the practical aspects of child rearing: feeding, diapering, bathing etc.. ) In my college years, I earned money by watching two children whose mother was attending school. I supervised the children, prepared lunch, read stories to them, and provided entertaining and engaging activities such as learning games, puzzles, arts and crafts etc..I have been CPR certified twice and am willing to go through CPR training again if hired.
