I am able to work within a team and also independently in a complex environment which has increased my communication knowledge, organizational skills, and customer service qualifications. I have a lot of experience working with youth as I am currently working for the Sacramento START program as a Traveling Enrichment Provider (TEP). I teach students how to prepare & eat healthy meals throughout Sacramento, Twin Rivers, Robla, & Elk Grove districts. In addition, I have a diverse background from working in the heart of the Bay Area. I worked with the Mission District YMCA of San Francisco & The Boys & Girls Club (Anna Marie Whalen Branch in Oakland). I have experience in developing curriculum’s that focus on nutrition, & arts & crafts. In addition, I have experience in leading other activities such as sports, songs, & cooking. I've worked with kid’s ages 5-17 years old since I was 15 Read more years old. I started off as a member, volunteer, then later as an employee. In addition, I have experience working with children ages 1-4 years old as I have 2 beautiful nieces & 2 nephews. I implement my teaching techniques from after school programs with toddler age children as well. I believe enrichment such as arts & crafts & songs help the learning process for reading, writing, & basic arithmetic. Helping & teaching youth is a passion of mine!
