I love working with children. My favorite thing to do when watching children is to share stories...about siblings, favorite animals, what they loved most about Frozen....Children have the most amazing perspectives on life, and I love listening to anything they have to say. I am a good role model for any child, and hope to establish personal relationships with the children I watch and the families who trust me with their loved ones. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have multiple references available upon request. In the past I've sat for family friends repeatedly, as well as multiple families in the Bay Area. Last year I lived with a family in Berkeley, doing household chores, cooking meals, and providing childcare for the family's 5yo daughter, to assist with the arrival of a new baby and other changes in the home. I recently moved back to Sacramento after earning my BA at UC Berkeley. I work full time in East Sac, and in my free time I like to hang out with friends and family, walk my dog, and attend live music events. While I am not a childcare professional, I am flexible, prepared, and experienced. Most of my time is spent at work with older coworkers, so for me, sitting for and hanging out with a younger child is rejuvenating and rewarding. I look forward to meeting your family :)
