I graduated from Rio Americano High School in Sacramento in 2012 and now reside in San Francisco and attend San Franciso State Univeristy working on my Communications degree. I am currently working at a lovely neighborhood restaurant in the mission called Myriad Gastropub. I am hoping to find a family that will need a permanent babysitter or a semi regular one. I have been babysitting for a very long time and the more I do it the more I love it. My neighborhood where I grew up is a very tight community and I know all the families extremely well. I have been a sitter for quite a few of them but there are about 4 families that I sit for regularly. The kids I usually babysit are between the ages of 2 and 12. I feel comfortable babysitting all ages.   I am a certified lifeguard and lifeguarded for Read more two years in a row. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have been swimming since I was 3 years old so water safety comes extremely naturally to me. At my swim club where I lifeguarded I was also a camp counselor for a summer. I used to volunteer at Happy Tails and do a lot of volunteer work with my church, but now that I have moved to the City I am not involved with any organizations at the moment.   I wouldn't say that I am a strict babysitter, but I definitely stick to all the rules. I would never yell at your child or discipline them in any way harmful. I like to use the counting down method (that always seems to work on kids no matter the age). Bedtimes shouldn't be flexible unless the parent suggests so I believe sleep is the most important for kids growing up. Any and all instructions given to me by the parents will be strictly enforced but I will always have a fun time with the kids. I play all sorts of games such as hide and go seek, board games, dress up, etc. I am there with the children to make sure they are safe and having fun while parents are away. I can cook, clean, and certainly manage up to 5 kids.   Finding the perfect babysitter may be hard, but please look no further if you are looking for somebody fun, responsible, and safe. :)
