I have been working with children of all ages since I was 12 years old with my first job as a mother's helper for triplet boys. From there I began babysitting for this family and for additional families with 1-3 children. I also taught swim lessons at the YMCA where I worked as a lifeguard. I taught groups of about 5-10 children, their ages ranging from infants to 15. I loved being able to teach the kids that I taught swim lessons to something new and making them proud of the things they were learning. After high school, I worked at two different summer camps. One in Michigan, where I was a camp counselor and a swim instructor. I also worked at Camp Harbor View which is a summer camp in Boston Harbor for inner city youths.
